The Elimination Chamber Dark Match + Major News & Notes

— Christan beat Ezekiel Jackson in a dark match prior to the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Jackson did not have the ECW Championship belt with him and didn’t work with it this weekend so it appears the belt has been retired.

— As seen at WWE’s Elimination Chamber PPV, John Cena won the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match. After Cena won the title, Vince McMahon announced Batista as his opponent and Batista won the WWE Championship from John Cena.

— As for the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match, Chris Jericho won the match off interference by Shawn Michaels setting up The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels.

— Edge will announce his Wrestlemania opponent this week on RAW. It’s unknown as of this writing if he’ll challenge Batista or Chris Jericho. While the storyline would suggest Jericho, we cannot confirm that at this time.
