— The French wrestling comedy Les Reines Du Ring will be released in the US on November 11th under the title Queens of the Ring. The movie tells the story of a French cashier who pursues pro wrestling as a way to get closer to her son. WWE allowed their trademarks to be used in exchange for an “in association with WWE Studios” credit in the film. They also got the ability to have the first look rights to distribute the film Stateside and adapt it. CM Punk, Miz and Eve Torres have cameos in the film, and at one time, WWE Studios was developing an English language version. No word on if they are still looking to produce that project.
