As we previously reported, CM Punk recently had his attorneys send WWE a 22-page letter over the royalties Punk feels that he is owed since the company is using his name and likeness, especially with WWE 2K15.
WWE has now removed nearly all of Punk’s merchandise from his WWEShop.com Alumni page. As of this writing, there are six items left on Punk’s page. The most expensive is a CM Punk/Brock Lesnar signed commemorative plaque from their SummerSlam 2013 match at $69.99, followed an action figure ($10.99) and his “Best in the World” DVD ($4.99). The rest are selling from $0.99 to $2.99.
WWE feels that CM Punk was in breach of contract when he quit this year, so they don’t think they owe him any more money. Punk’s letter is not actually a lawsuit, just a notice about what Punk thinks he is owed due to royalties.
