— With the opening weekend of the films, “My Good Deed” and “Dolphin Tale 2,” Batista’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” fell to number three this week, earning a reported $8.04 million this weekend in its seventh week in theaters. That is still a ridiculously high number for its SEVENTH week.
— The “Monday Night War” episode of the WWE Network next week will focus primarily on Bret Hart jumping ship to WCW, the infamous “Montreal Screwjob” and that whole ordeal.
— WWE appears to have ended their partnership with TOUT. As you may recall, the company invested $5,000 in the company back in July of 2012, entering into a two-year partnership that placed Stephanie McMahon on TOUT’s board of directors.
As noted earlier, the WWE TOUT account hasn’t been used since July 12th and the NXT account hasn’t been used since May 25th. Many WWE talent haven’t used their TOUT accounts in months. Considering the timing of the end of the WWE account’s use at the end of the two-year deal, it would suggest that the company did not renew their partnership.
