On social media, WWE is promoting that Monday’s RAW will feature “the next generation” on the September 22 episode.
The recent appearance of the NXT talents on RAW suggests they could be involved in some way. The NXT talents are already confirmed for WWE TV for the next few weeks.
What seems more likely is that the announcement has something to with WWE 2K15. The game is set for a November 11 release for the PS4 and Xbox One release. It hits the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 28. The first actual trailer for the game is reportedly supposed to be released on Monday as well. So the “next generation” could simply be the kickoff of the promotional campaign for WWE 2K15.
Sting also posted a tweet pertaining to September 22. You can check out his tweet below. Considering Sting is in WWE 2K15 as a playable character and he is a big part of the game’s marketing, that makes me support the theory that the “next generation” hype has something to do with the WWE 2K15 game.
