As you surely know by now, Roman Reigns is off of Night of Champions due to emergency surger from an incarcerated hernia. The last report noted that Reigns should be out for four to six weeks, but could take as long as six months.
According to sources, WWE doesn’t anticipate that this should affect his push, which as we’ve reported is said to be leading toward a match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. WWE hopes that Reigns will be back in time for the Royal Rumble but even if it is three months, he will still be able to come back at the Royal Rumble, which would set him on the road to WrestleMania and his supposed date with Lesnar.
Reigns took to Twitter today, posting the following:
Thank you everyone for your kind words, support and prayers!! I'm hurting right now but it's great to know good people have my back!!
