UPDATE: As noted earlier, Global Force Wrestling is advertised for their first pay-per-view show on January 4th in a joint event with New Japan Pro Wrestling. The show takes place from Japan’s Tokyo Dome and will be branded as GFW’s first PPV when it airs in the United States. Jarrett has refused to comment on the pay-per-view rumors.
According to a source, a big announcement regarding is forth coming from Jarrett and Global Force. This likely involves their first-ever pay-per-view that we reported on earlier (see below). Kurt Angle is now a free agent so keep that in mind as well. If Angle signs with GFW, that’ll be interesting considering the past Angle/Jarrett issues over Karen. As we’ve reported, the two are said to be “friendly” with each other.
GFW tweeted the following on Monday with former NJPW wrestler and TNA Champion AJ Styles:
The wrestling world is buzzing w/ talk of @RealJeffJarrett & @AJStylesOrg together again. #GFWWhatsNext #BulletClub pic.twitter.com/cNFnLJrnym

ORIGINAL: Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling will be holding their first-ever pay-per-view event on January 4th, 2015. Multiple sources have confirmed that a GWF show is on multiple carriers’ schedules for that date, which is the same date as Nee Japan Pro Wrestling’s annual Tokyo Dome show.
According to sources, it appears that Jarrett has a deal to bring the Tokyo Dome show to pay-per-view in the US for the first time. The deal and all marketing will be branded for GFW and not New Japan Pro Wrestling. Jarrett joined NJPW’s Bullett Club faction recently.
Jarrett declined to comment when asked about the story.
