TMZ caught up with The Rock in New York yesterday and asked him if he plans to work WrestleMania 31. The Rock said no, saying he can’t risk messing up his face. You can see TMZ’s video below.
Interestingly enough, sources report that there is a “good chance” The Rock will work WrestleMania, but that he is/will face pressure from movie studios not to. He suffered injuries in his last two WrestleMania matches against John Cena, the second of which was bad enough that it forced the entire Hercules production to be delayed.
Rock has signed on for some major upcoming movies including Baywatch and Shazam!.
