— As previously reported, Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling promotion will be teaming with New Japan Pro Wrestling for their annual Tokyo Dome show on January 4th, 2015. The event will air on pay-per-view in the United States and there are ongoing negotiations regarding GFW distributing all of NJPW’s pay-per-view events in the United States.
— As previously reported, Team 3D cut a promo at the TNA Bound for Glory pay-per-view calling out New Japan Pro Wrestling’s “The Bullet Club.” There were actually two promos that took place but both of them were cut from the show. This likely has to do with Wrestle-1 promoting the show and Team 3D leaving the company. We can’t imagine Wrestle-1 was thrilled with the promos as they are in direct competition with NJPW.
— Speaking of Team 3D, numerous Japanese wrestling stars attended the TNA Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday night. Former ECW star Masato Tanaka was one of those legends in attendance.
