New RVD Series In The Works, WrestleMania Kick-Off Party, ROH

— A six-episode television series entitled Rob Van Dam’s Extreme Championship Comedy is currently in post-production. It was shot this past January at the Ontario Improv in California with the likes of RVD, Sabu, The Sandman, Paul Heyman, Shelly Martinez, Bill Alfonso, Raven and MMA fighter Justin McCulley appearing in various episodes.

— WWE will be holding a “WrestleMania Kick-off Party” on Friday, Mar. 20 at the Westgate City Center in Glendale, Arizona. WWE Superstars and Divas are scheduled to appear. WWE.com has posted more details.

— ROH owner Cary Silkin came up with the downloadable DVD idea we mentioned earlier.

— Kevin Steen & Steve Corino vs. El Generico & Colt Cabana has been added to the April 3 ROH Big Bang Internet PPV in Charlotte, NC.

— 35 people took part in a ROH tryout camp last Sunday. It was engineered by Kevin Kelly.

— Daivari has joined Prince Nana’s Embassy in ROH.
