— The WWE Network is showing a new episode of WWE Main Event airing tomorrow at 7 PM ET instead of the usual 8 PM. This is due to the Live SmackDown special on the USA Network that will air at 8 PM on USA.
— As noted earlier here on the website, WWE has instructed the merchandise department not to make new merchandise for Brock Lesnar. The report comes from The Wrestling Observer, who say that the department has instead been told to make new Sheamus merchandise.
On its face, the news would suggest that Lesnar’s post-WrestleMania future is in doubt and that Sheamus is in line for a push. Of course this is just a hint of such possibilities and far from confirmation, so take it with that in mind.
The current belief is that Lesnar will leave the company after WrestleMania and give MMA one more go. His contract is up after WrestleMania and there is expected to be a bidding way between WWE, the UFC and Bellator.
