The WWE Network already had a news item today noting that it is expected that Hulk Hogan will be the person who inducts Savage into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
Below is a release WWE issued regarding tickets for the 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame induction ceremony:
On March 28, the eve of WrestleMania 31, a new class of sports-entertainment pioneers will be enshrined into the WWE Hall of Fame, and you can get tickets for the historic induction ceremony starting this Saturday!
Tickets for this year’s gathering — which takes place at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. — go on sale Saturday at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT and will be available at Ticketmaster.com and the SAP Center box office. You can also charge by phone by calling (800) 745-3000.
With appearances by WWE’s biggest Superstars and Divas, as well as candid speeches by the inductees themselves, the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony has become one of the most anticipated nights of the year for the WWE Universe.
ORIGINAL: Several mainstream media outlets, including TMZ, picked up on the story that WWE legend “Macho Man” Randy Savage was being announced as the first inductee into the 2015 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame on tonight’s edition of WWE RAW.
The initial belief was that WWE would be announcing the first 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame inductee during the first week of February, however those plans were changed to help with ticket sales.
According to a report, as of Friday, the script for tonight’s RAW listed a segment for the first 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame inductee to be announced, however no name was listed.
