Jake Roberts will debut his one-man show on Friday night in Chicago. Here is the official announcement on the show…
Jake “The Snake” Roberts premieres his one-man show Unspoken Word this Friday, January 16th in Chicago, IL.
On January 16th, 2015, Chicago Underground Comedy teams up with 100 Proof Comedy to present Jake “The Snake” Roberts: Unspoken Word live from the Beat Kitchen! It’s a night of comedy and true stories from a WWE Hall of Famer and of one professional wrestling’s biggest names of all time.
Menacing, intimidating and totally hypnotic in the ring, Jake “The Snake” Roberts was a Superstar capable of taking you down physically as well as psychologically. Slithering to the ring with a monstrous python concealed in a burlap sack, Jake used fear as a weapon as deftly as he used pain. His DDT finishing move is still one of the most brutal finishers ever unleashed on a Superstar.
Candid and uncensored, Jake will bring the same intensity to the stage as he did to the ring, making this an event you will NOT want to miss. There will be a Meet and Greet following the show, and autographs and pictures will be available for a small fee.
Also included on the night are performances from comedians Jamie Campbell and Ricky Gonzalez, as well as professional wrestler Sinn Bodhi (Former WWE Superstar Kizarny!)
Tickets are only $25 and can be ordered in advance (suggested) by calling the Beat Kitchen box office at (773) 281-4444 or by ordering online at www.beatkitchen.com/calendar
