Earlier there have been rumors suggesting that WWE would soon transition its TV-PG rating back to TV-14 later this year. The rumor originated from a poster on Reddit claiming to be The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer. The Reddit post claimed that Triple H had been wanting to move WWE back in the direction of TV-14 for a long time, but it had constantly been shot down by Vince McMahon. The report also claimed that Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins would be the major stars of the new TV-14 era.
The Reddit post was later taken down and marked as false. Meltzer later stated: “I never reported it, and there’s nothing to it.”
