Right now there is no confirmation that Sean Waltman is gone from TNA. TNA officials say that they knew as early as Saturday morning that Waltman wasn’t coming and that he cited a licensing issue in Missouri as his reason. Other sources say that it was known earlier, and Waltman is expected back on TV. He is not scheduled for tonight’s show at least.
Waltman did not show up for the Fan Interaction event on Saturday. He worked an indy show for Great Lakes Wrestling in Milwaukee that night, and was telling people there that he wasn’t going to the PPV and that he was supposed to do the job in the match with Team 3D.
There was no announcement in the building last night that Waltman was off the show.
