WWE Re-Writes A Royal Rumble Segment During The Show

— According to a source, the call to not bring Paul Heyman out for the WWE World Title match until the last minute at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view was made after Heyman’s appearance in the backstage segment with The Authority. After the pop Heyman received from the Philadelphia crowd, the company decided to hold him off until then. Again, it was a very last minute decision that happened while the show was in progress.
