— As previously reported, WWE Main Event is off of the WWE Network for the time being due to WWE’s contract with Sky Sports that allows the UK provider to air the show in the country. Talks between the two companies “hit a snag” and unless things change, the company won’t be able to air the show on the network until they put geo-blocking into the live network feed. That is currently set to be in place for late summer or early fall.
Due to international TV commitments, the show is going to continue to be taped before SmackDown and will be available on Hulu Plus in the US. It will not treated like a filler show until it can be made available in the US via a larger venue such as the network or a cable network.
