An interview with Scott Steiner is available at http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/ Although he did not want to discuss his TNA deal, he did have this to say:
On TNA’s main event scene: “It pisses me off, the guys that they push to the forefront. They’re basically puppets. It’s an agent on a headset controlling everything.”
On WWE’s Wellness Policy: “I told (WWE) to have Triple H pick me up in a limo, then we could go test together. They never asked again. I’ve never failed a drug test in my life. Their Wellness Policy is a political issue. A lot of people have addictions. And if they don’t have the willpower to control it, that’s when it becomes a problem.”
He also discusses the birth of Big Poppa Pump, his first WWE run and the injury in Puerto Rico that almost killed him.
