Carlito-WWE, Why Kofi Kingston Is IC Champion, DiBiase’s Injury

— Despite being released from WWE last week, Carlito is still listed as a member of the RAW roster.

— Stars being advertised to appear at Wizard World Chicago on August 19th – 22nd include DDP, The Honky Tonk Man, Iron Sheik, Shane Douglas, Lita, Bushwacker Luke, Mick Foley, Rikishi, Charlie Haas and his wife Jackie Gayda.

— Kofi Kingston won the WWE Intercontinental Title on Sunday and R-Truth won the WWE United States Title last night largely because of the company directive to find a new African American star.

— As noted earelier, Ted DiBiase suffered a concussion very early in his match with R-Truth this past Sunday night at WWE Over The Limit when Truth slapped him across the face and knocked him loopy. Despite this, DiBiase continued to work, taking several more bumps before the bout was prematurely concluded. DiBiase is expected to be kept out the ring for a weeks so he can heal. He did not compete (in-ring match) at last night’s RAW taping in Toledo, Ohio.
