VIDEO: Matt Hardy Takes Aim At Crowdfunding Campaigns

Matt Hardy has posted a new video, written and directed by Reby Sky, in which he takes shots at people who abuse crowdfunding. You can see the video below, which parodies people who ask for fans’ support with a request for a 2,000 square foot bank vault.

The video includes a link to a website, which you can view here, titled “Go Fund Your F**king Self.” The website slams people who set up bogus campaigns, noting “No, your desire for plastic surgery does not mean that strangers should be giving you their hard-earned cash. You want to go back to school ? Save up like the millions of people who came before you who somehow managed to pay their own way without resorting to online panhandling.”

The page notes that they are not against crowdfunding in general, but rather the “entitled Generation-Y, who see crowd-funding sites as a way to spin their saddest, most pitiful sob stories – from their brand new iPhone 6’s – as an irresponsible first reaction as opposed to a dire last resort.”
