As noted earlier, Tamina Snuka made her return on RAW, helping Naomi attack the Bella Twins as they came down to the ring. After the attack, Naomi told the Bellas, “You’re sibling reign of dominance over the Divas division is over. This is what family is all about.” This is in reference (and was explained as such) to the fact that Snuke is the cousin of Naomi’s husband Jimmy Uso.
Also as noted earlier, Sami Zayn made his RAW debut Monday night as well, facing John Cena in his open challenge for the US Title. Bret Hart came out and was about to introduce Cena’s opponent when Heath Slater came out, demanding his shot at the title. Bret clocked Slater with the microphone and then introduced Zayn, who got a strong reaction.
Zayn lost the match after a hard-fought battle, taking a Springboard Stunner and an Attitude Adjustment back-to-back for a pinfall win. Cena put Zayn over after the match, raising his hand and then leaving the ring to him.
It was also announced on RAW that a contract signing will take place on this week’s SmackDown. The contract will be for the main event at WWE Payback, which is now a fatal four-way between Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose.
SmackDown tapes Tuesday night in Ottawa, Ontario and airs Thursday on SyFy. We’ll have live **SPOILER** coverage here on the website.
