Thursday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown bumped nicely in the ratings. The episode brought in 2.611 million viewers and a 0.73 in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are up 11% and an impressive 24% from the previous week’s 2.35 million and 0.59 demo rating. It is the highest viewership since the April 23rd episode brought in 2.642 million and the highest rating since a 0.77 demo rating on April 16th.
Smackdown won the night among cable shows. The numbers is particularly good considering the last half of the show was up against the NBA Finals, which beat all shows on TV with a 6.3 demo rating and 16.332 million viewers. The first half was up against Jimmy Kimmel Live which brought in a 2.9 demo rating and 8.869 million viewers, as well as the NBA Countdown pre-show with a 3.6 demo and 9.986 million viewers.
