Eric Bischoff publicly stated that he would not be at the Victory Road PPV, but some say that he stayed home as a way to “make a point to Dixie Carter” in regards to rumors that Paul Heyman is coming in. Some feel that Hogan also stayed home as a way to “distance himself from TNA if and when Heyman comes in.”
It is believed that Hogan and Bischoff are contracted to TNA through the end of 2010.
According to a source, talks between Paul Heyman and TNA are still ongoing and that he could be coming in soon to oversee a complete makeover of the company roster and TNA’s front office. As of this writing, nothing has been signed between Heyman and TNA, but the word is that the two sides are “closer to a deal than they are letting on.”
