WWE gave the trio of Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch a team name on Monday’s edition of RAW, similar to Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina being called “Team B.A.D.” and the team of Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Alicia Fox being called “Team Bella.”
“The Submission Sorority,” the team name for the babyface trio, is also the name of an adult website, something WWE quickly found out about after mentioning the name on RAW this past Monday night.
WWE is already talking about changing the name of the group to “The Submission Sisters.”
There were some discussions about giving the group the name “Horsewomen,” however the belief was that it could be seen as stepping on Ronda Rousey’s toes, and/or be a blatant ripoff of a pretty well established name.
