UPDATE x 2: WWE’s Triple H has also commented on the shooting with the following tweets. The shooter was said to be a “deranged individual” with no WWE affiliation. In addition, the man had a court order prohibiting him from going on to WWE property.

UPDATE: WWE COO Triple H has issued the following statement regarding the shooting that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando on Monday afternoon that sent one person to the hospital with a gunshot wound:
“Unfortunately, a deranged individual with no WWE affiliation, who had a court order prohibiting him from being on WWE property, was involved in an incident with an Orange County Sherriff’s deputy in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center. We defer to the Orange County Sherriff’s department for further comment and information.”
ORIGINAL: WESH in Orlando, Florida is reporting that there was a shooting outside the WWE Performance Center earlier today. One person was hospitalized after suffering a gunshot wound per Orange County Fire Rescue officials.
Medics were called to the scene at around 1:45PM today (August 31). The patient was then taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center. No other details on the shooting are available at this time.
