Per a statement by a WWE spokesperson to the Washington Post, “John [Cena] is fine,” following concerns that he was injured after a botched spot during his match with Kevin Owens at a live event on Friday (September 4). So it appears Cena will be good to go for any upcoming WWE events this month.
Also, despite his injury scare on Friday, Cena was back in action at last night’s house show in Charlottesville, Virginia. He defeated Kevin Owens in a Street Fight. You can check out some pictures of Cena from the event posted on Twitter below:
