According to a source in WWE creative, the angle where The Wyatt Family attacked Randy Orton on Monday was not to set him up as the partner of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose at the WWE’s Night of Champions pay-per-view.

Orton is not currently featured in storyline plans for the next several weeks. It had been previously reported that that Orton was looking to work a lighter schedule.
