In an interview with The Sound Magazine‘s Scott Yager, Jerry Lawler said that there would be some changes coming to Smackdown when it moves to USA in 2016. Months ago, he teased that the show could go live. Now at the New York City Comic Con, he once again brought it up.
He said: “There’s going to be a lot of stuff going on on SmackDown, they’re getting ready to make that a really… because it’s coming back on USA. There’s a very good possibility in the near future that SmackDown may be live.”
He also spoke about his feud with Andy Kaufman and how he’d get in trouble for saying “puppies” on commentary now. Check out the video below:
