At Friday night’s Showcase of Champions event in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Sonjay Dutt beat PJ Black (formerly Justin Gabriel in the WWE) to win the Global Force Wrestling NexGen title. The title change occurred before GFW’s first Amped TV show has hit the airwaves, and GFW announced the title change on the promotion’s official Twitter account.
Black previously won the title at the GFW TV tapings last October in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can check out tweets of Dutt being announced as the new champion below.
