Backstage Newx – The Delayed NXT TakeOver: Dallas Start Time + Attendance #’s

— Here is the latest news on why WWE NXT Takeover: Dallas is going to have a delayed start time during the WrestleMania 32 weekend. The event is being held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center on April 1, which is the same venue as where WrestleMania AXXESS is being held. WWE opted for a later start time for Takeover due to the schedule for AXXESS on the same day.

Takeover’s start time is set for 9PM local time, which will be after the end of that day’s AXXESS session. The event will air on the WWE Network at 10PM EST.

* December 30th in Toronto drew a sellout of 9,000 fans (John Cena tour)
* December 30th in Baltimore drew 8,000 fans (Roman Reigns tour)
* January 3rd in Hidalgo, TX drew 4,600 fans (Reigns tour)
* January 4th in San Antonio for RAW drew 8,500 fans
