Backstage Update – Randy Orton’s Injury & WrestleMania 32 Status

Randy Orton learned he wouldn’t need neck surgery just over a week ago. There had been concern that he would need it while they waited for the MRI results to come back in. He is currently recovering from shoulder surgery.

Dave Meltzer reported in November that Orton would need surgery and Ric Flair hinted at something similar on his podcast. Orton went on Instagram this weekend to deny those rumors.

Orton is still not considered a lock for WrestleMania 32, but WWE are looking at a possible return between mid-March and May.
