WWE is said to be targeting Orlando for next year’s WrestleMania and Los Angeles for another WrestleMania in the next few years. Orlando is “very high on the list” among possible host cities for WrestleMania 33 in 2017. It is not yet known whether a final decision is made, but there has been a lot done to work out the logistics of holding the event in the city.
With the WWE Performance Center and NXT tapings taking place regularly in Orlando, there has been discussion of putting a physical Hall of Fame there for a while.
In addition, there has been discussion of bringing WrestleMania to Los Angeles in the next few years. The news comes after it was announced yesterday that the St. Louis Rams are moving to Los Angeles, with plans to build a new stadium in Inglewood. The stadium will have a 70,240 seat capacity and can expand to add another 30,000 people in standing-room only areas. While it’s not known when the stadium will be completed, it fits with WWE’s recent trend of trying to get into major stadiums soon after being constructed.
