21-Man Battle Royal On RAW Tonight, Danielson’s Future

— WWE is advertising a 21-man battle royal for tonight’s tapings, which is now confirmed to be a dark match. The match will feature seven RAW stars, seven SmackDown! stars and the seven members of Nexus.

— EVOLVE sent out the following announcement today… Bryan Danielson, who just returned to WWE last night as Daniel Bryan, will make his final independent wrestling NYC area appearance at EVOLVE on September 11th in Rahway, NJ at the Rahway Rec Center, close to Manhattan. Bryan will be in a one-time-only dream match against Munenori Sawa, who stole the first EVOLVE card with a hard-hitting match against TJP. This will be a great opportunity to pay homage to the “Best In The World.”

— Today, THQ has revealed that several superstars will appear on the various covers of WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 around the world. Expect to see John Cena, Big Show and The Miz on the cover of the game in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and India. Randy Orton, The Undertaker and Sheamus will appear on the European cover. This is one of the few times in the franchise’s history where different covers of the game will be available around the world. THQ plans to reveal even more regional covers for SvR 2011 later this year.
