John Cena will have competition that he may not have anticipated for eyeballs on his new reality series: WWE. FOX announced new details for their midseason schedule today and it included the Cena-fronted reality competition series American Grit, which will run ten episodes and feature people with military backgrounds competing in challenges.
American Grit will premiere on April 14th, running Thursdays at 9 PM ET/PT. That will of course put it up against Smackdown, which airs Thursdays from 8 PM to 10 PM on the USA Network. American Grit will have the spring run of Bones as a lead-in.
