AXS TV has released a new preview for Jim Ross’ interview on The Voice Versus that you can see below. The interview airs Friday at 8 PM ET and is being billed as a one-hour tell-all interview.
In the preview, Ross talks about his WWE departure in 2013 and confirms that he was fired over the WWE 2K16 SummerSlam panel incident that year in which Ric Flair got visibly intoxicated and started rambling. You can see his story of how that went down below.
The special airs immediately before Ross’ debut on color commentary for New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV that night.
