Rob Van Dam recently spoke with the Washington Post, who was doing an article about athletes who promote the idea of marijuana use as a workout tool. You can see the article at the link.
Van Dam talked about how he’s applied smoking marijuana to just about everything he does during the day and said that the drug has helped him in “thinking good thoughts, because … in front of millions of people that paid to see you at your best, who expect you to be in action-figure shape and condition on that particular night for that moment, you’ve got to deliver.”
Van Dam noted that there are different strains of weed and that some some are better suited for high-energy activities, saying, “If I want to relax and just chill out, consuming cannabis can help with that. If I want to be active, if I’m going to go work out or have a match, then it can help with that, too.”
