— A new rumor says that media mogul John de Mol is interested in buying WWE in the unlikely event that Vince McMahon ever decides to sell the company. The New York Post reported on the rumor over the weekend. De Mol’s company Talpa Beheer has a 6% stack in WWE last year. The WWE issued a statement to the Post which read:
“WWE, controlled by founder and Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon through Class B shares, isn’t in any discussions about a potential sale.”
