MVP has been fired from Lucha Underground a week after announcing that he’d signed with them. The WWE and TNA alum took to YouTube and revealed that his contract was terminated after he interviewed members of the cast for his podcast, which “violated the non-disclosure terms” of his deal.
MVP revealed the news that he had signed with the company at WaleMania 2 last week. He was planned to be used as an agent with an eventual on-screen role planned. MVP took full responsibility for the situation in the video, which you can see below, and said he wasted a big opportunity.
Of course, this is what he claims and there may be more to the story. He’s burned bridges with WWE, TNA and now Lucha Underground but he seems to be fairly honest in the video below:
