— Johnny “Mr. Wrestling II” Walker is said to be recovering well from open heart surgery.

— Bobby Heenan made it through his latest surgery OK. It was for a broken shoulder. He is currently doing physical rehab to deal with the most recent issues he has had.

— For those wondering, Galavision is now available in HD in some markets, but AAA is not shot or presented in HD.

— Darren Aronofsky recently spoke about his new film Black Swan, which he feels is something of a companion piece to The Wrestler. Here is what he had to say to MTV.com… “They are really connected and people will see the connections. It’s funny, because wrestling some consider the lowest art — if they would even call it art — and ballet some people consider the highest art. But what was amazing to me was how similar the performers in both of these worlds are. They both make incredible use of their bodies to express themselves.”
