Brock Lesnar Arm Wrestled Vince McMahon For UFC 200 Fight Approval

Following the announcement that Mark Hunt would be his opponent at UFC 200, Brock Lesnar did the rounds at ESPN yesterday. During one of the appearances, Lesnar explained how he got Vince McMahon’s approval to fight at the big event…

“I said, ‘Listen, old man, we can do this the hard way or the easy way. I said, ‘Do you wanna arm-wrestle for it?’ He was like, ‘Yeah, what the hell.’ So, I ended up beating him and here we are.”

Lesnar also added that McMahon had no hesitation in allowing him to fight, because Lesnar is billed as a legitimate athlete and the return to the octagon can bring more legitimacy to WWE’s brand.
