VIDEO: Titus O’Neil Discusses His WWE Suspension, Turning It Into A Postive
In an interview with Michael Cole for WWE.com, Titus O’Neil spoke about his WWE suspension and his upcoming US title match with Rusev. Here are highlights:
– He joked that he doesn’t like phone calls from WWE HQ. This was after Cole told him about his phone call to announce Titus O’Neil vs Rusev at Money in the Bank.
– Titus said he turned the negative of his WWE suspension into a positive by spending more time with his family. He saw things outside of WWE and was able to expand on what he does inside WWE. He was also able to improve his personal relationships.
– Titus said that Rusev runs from a fight and he never will. He said the real American heroes are teachers, servicemen, police officers and firefighters. He said he’s fighting for everyone and will fight anyone to preserve the most important parts of life: faith, family and community
– He said his kids will be at the match because it’s Father’s Day. He added that every dad should spend time with their kids but this is the biggest opportunity of his career. He has the chance to prove he belongs in WWE and will be there for a long time. He said there will be plenty of juice boxes and chips at the celebration in Las Vegas. Real champions stand up for what they believe in and Rusev will find that out.
