Backstage Update – Sasha Banks’ WWE Injury & Return, Bayley’s Future

According to Dave Meltzer, Sasha Banks facing Charlotte at the WWE Clash of Champions PPV was always the plan following the SummerSlam match. When Banks got injured, Bayley was brought up to replace her because the company feared that Banks would be out for an extended period of time. But with Banks being cleared sooner than expected, WWE opted to go back to the original plan.

No word on if Bayley will be added to the match or if they will hold off her title shot.
