Tough Enough season six winner Sara Lee has been released from her contract. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Lee, who won the most recent season alongside Joshua Bredl, was informed on Friday that she was being let go. Lee won a $250,000 contract but has not been used much since she made her debut at a house show in March.
There is no word at this point on why she was given her release. The runner-up, Amanda “Mandy Rose” Saccomanno, is still with the company with a role on Total Divas and appearances in NXT.
UPDATE: Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens caught this Twitter post by Lee — now deleted — which reveals that she and Blake Weston are expecting their first child. At this point, it isn’t certain whether that is the reason for the release.
