TNA iMPACT! took a hit as sports and weather programming dominated the night in cable TV. Thursday night’s episode of iMPACT Wrestling drew a !0.06 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and >b?305,000 viewers. Those numbers are down 25% and 16% respectively from last week’s 0.08 demo rating and 365,000 viewers. Both metrics are the lowest since Impact returned to Thursdays on POP TV in July; in fact, the demo rating was the lowest since the June 14th episode that was marred by technical difficulties and ended up airing much later in the night.
For the first time in a while, Impact did not rank among the top 150 cable originals for the night Showbuzz Daily. Four of the top five cable shows were MLB playoff games, the Thursday night NFL game and the post-NFL game show, with the five in the top five being a rare appearance of the Weather Channel due to its Hurricane Matthew coverage.
