UPDATE: We have now confirmed that WWE has discontinued production on Superstars. “205 Live” is being considered the replacement for the show, with the belief that the live cruiserweight show will add greater value to WWE Network subscriptions.
WWE Main Event will now be taped on Mondays before Raw instead of Tuesdays before SmackDown.
ORIGINAL: It appears that WWE could be doing away with WWE Superstars. There were no matches for Superstars taped on Monday prior to RAW, and there is no episode listed for this Friday on the Network. WWE taped matches for Main Event instead.
With the addition of 205 Live which airs after SmackDown, it is possible that WWE is using it to replace Superstars on the schedule, or WWE may be in the process of working out the scheduling and have just taken it off for this week. WWE has yet to respond to requests for comment regarding Superstars’ status.
