— Retired Lucha Libre star Arturo “La Fiera” Casco died early this morning at the age of 49 after being stabbed five times. Casco was regarded as one of the best workers in Mexico during his prime, but ran into trouble later in life. He had major drug issues and had a stint in jail during the 1990s for drug dealing.
— WWE is scheduled to release a “Top 50 Superstars of All-Time” DVD later this year on December 14th. According to a source, the original list in the top 50 were said to be very “out there” when it comes to looking at the wrestling business as a whole. Many were wondering where guys like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair would be placed given their current involvement with TNA Wrestling.
