Corey Graves announced before NXT TakeOver that he would be “stepping down” as the announcer for NXT, saying he has “a lot of responsibilities within the WWE universe and [he] can’t do it all at once.”
It was also announced that he would be replaced by Nigel McGuinness, who was the announcer alongside Michael Cole on the WWE UK Championship Tournament.
Percy Watson, who wrestled in NXT from 2010-2013, will also join in as a 3rd commentator, and made his debut alongside Graves and Tom Phillips at TakeOver: San Antonio.
