The Undertaker was last seen as a participant in the 2017 Royal Rumble. It is well known that Undertaker needs a hip replacement surgery, and that after having said surgery his career will likely be finished. The Undertaker looked in pretty rough ring-shape at The Royal Rumble. He didn’t walk to the ring and was only in the match a few minutes, hitting very few moves and taking very few bumps. The bumps that he did take, such as the spear from Goldberg, looked rather rough. They didn’t have the smooth, seamless flow that wrestlers usually do when they take a bump. Roman Reigns yelled “This is my yard now”, as he tossed Undertaker from the ring at the Royal Rumble. I’ve only heard WWE slyly mention Roman being ‘The big dog in the yard’ once since the RR – and it seems illogical that Roman would have this short, one-off feud with Braun Strowman for a few weeks.
Does anyone else think Undertaker won’t actually wrestle at WM33? I could see him sitting it out and resting up for a final match in New Orleans at WM34 (he did attend the press conference for WM34 after all, which is a rarity for him).
