TNA Expected to Officially Drop “TNA” Name Soon

There is a lot of talk that TNA will officially drop the “TNA” name soon, according to PWInsider.

They have been unofficially going by “Impact Wrestling” for a few months now and their new Anthem logo doesn’t include “TNA” anywhere. Their website and social media accounts also have only been using the “Impact Wrestling” name.

There is some speculation that Jeff Jarrett may use the “GFW” (Global Force Wrestling) initials for TNA. GFW does not currently have a TV deal and has not had any shows for months. All their recent Twitter posts also just have to do with Impact Wrestling. Seems like it would make more sense if they just keep using the “Impact Wrestling” name though.
