Talent Pay
TNA has apparently restructured some deals with wrestlers who are not on a guaranteed contract. TNA often tapes more than one episode of Impact Wrestling per night and in the past, if someone wrestled twice in one night (for two episodes), they would be paid for each episode. New deals will apparently only pay wrestlers per day, so if someone wrestles twice, they will only be paid for the day.
Lack of Outside Talent Available
As of now, though a few of TNA’s biggest stars have left (with more possible departures upcoming), there is no word on any big new wrestlers coming in. One problem is that a lot of the bigger-name outside talent has already been signed by other promotions, so there aren’t as many “stand out” guys like AJ Styles or Samoa Joe that TNA was able to sign in its early days.
Announce Team
There are rumors that Jeff Jarrett could possibly bring Jeremy Borash back as the announcer to replace Josh Matthews and The Pope to go back to the “old feel” of the show and erase/change the image of the recent promotion.
